Has nothing to di with the price of the headsets. The phone in your pocket probably costs more.

I wouldn't say games are lacking either. I think it's just the rumors of installation issues, lack of games, and people saying that it takes a 980 Ti to run VR when a 960/970 can do the job.

Do the advanced settings mod though, if you can handle the supersampling it's awesome. 

I ran superposition on VR future and scored in the not ready area. Pretty insane benchmark. I am going to play around with it more

I can't play sims on a single monitor. VR fixes many of the issues driving games have with viewing turns at a distance, for me at least.

 

Hopefully Syren comes out and really brings VR to the fore-front of gaming. Super excited for this one.

Fallout 4 is a make it or break it in my opinion. It;s the first true AAA title. If they charge 60 bucks even to people who have the game and it's not mind blowing, VR will struggle. 

 

It's been a year now, and the PS4 is the only platform getting AAA titles. Not good.

To be fair most games can be run in 21:9 with some tinkering. It doesn't always work and can screw up the UI but still easier than adding in VR support
