Hi mate, I hope ur running a bad ass oc on water :P

i have 2 980tis at 1506mhz and in wildlands a 1080ti at 1080p high preset gets 86 fps on the bench and I get 113

because the game scales well

and most other games I edge out the 1080ti by 20 frames,

worst case i loose by 5 frames

with a big oc in yours to like 1450 u will have even better performance than me and u still have 12gb vram

u obviously know ur self how well sli runs because ou have it so take no notice for all the haters that are going to jump in saying single most powerful card

i would hate for you to drop 800 on a 1080ti for less performance than what u currently have man

@App4that I'm sure this guy will tell you the same too :)

No it isn't worth it, the Titan XM in SLI is crazy fast and capable already, you won't feel much of change at all even with Pascal highest end, keep saving your money.

I own a single Titan XM and I had for like a month before I resell the Titan X Pascal, the change in performance wasn't all that great/worthy the investment to be honest... especially because my Titan XM has gold silicon that allows it to operate on the 1080 stock level.

I managed to resell that Titan X Pascal with pretty much no loss, now I am saving money for the almighty Titan X Volta and a 1440p ultrawide for upgrade, I know it probably gonna take until 2018 to but seems the best way to go... until then the Titan XM on  2560x1080p is plenty.

Like I was saying yes, but not for Vega, AMD Vega is going to be on the 1080 level, the true deal is with nVidia Volta.

I probably wouldn't switch from SLI titan x Maxwell, but going from my 2x 980's to a 1080Ti has been totally worthwhile in my opinion.  Sort of seems like it's a "sidegrade" but honestly the frametimes are sooo much better it's hard to describe, I'll probably never run SLI again personally.  Most of my benchmarks come out about even with my heavily oc'd 980's but everything feels much better

It's not really worth "upgrading" in this case, unless you live in a hot country and want to reduce the amount of heat kicked out by your rig.
