I'm thinking of upgrading from my lovely phanteks Enthoo Pro, to the corsair 900d. In all honesty, i feel like my enthoo pro is out dated.i didn't really mind when i first built my pc, but now that im getting more into custom pc, i would like a giant room for upgrades.

What i liked about the enthoo pro was how easy it is to cable manage, and how easy it is to take a part. Great case for beginners. But now its time to evolve. Anyways, yes i got it from skunkworks, it looks amazing, but one question i have is, what are his temps. I've looked for them but can't find a video on them. Also any suggestions or thoughts please let me know

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

Skunkworks uses a custom caselabs case not a 900D anymore.

Edit: for the price of water cooling and the 900D your better off just upgrading your gpu to a 1080ti with a custom air cooler on it.

CPU: 6700K Case: Corsair Air 740 CPU Cooler: H110i GTX Storage: 2x250gb SSD 960gb SSD PSU: Corsair 1200watt GPU: EVGA 1080ti FTW3 RAM: 16gb DDR4

Other Stuffs: Red sleeved cables, White LED lighting 2 noctua fans on cpu cooler and Be Quiet PWM fans on case.

900D is not an upgrade, case is terrible with terrible airflow. There's a reason it got discontinued.

Wrong and just plain wrong. I own one and you are just plain wrong

Haven't seen them in digital stores for a while? Last I check it was discontinued. And no, they're terrible for dust because there's no way to direct airflow through a box like that.

Everywhere there is dust filters for one, and second no it really isnt hard to direct airflow in that case.

Edit: every case I have owned over time collects dust and I have owned over 10+ high end cases ranging from nzxt, corsair, and phanteks. Dust build up =/= level of airflow.

My case has dust filters, do you think that stops all dust? No. Second the case has terrible airflow for managing dust because it's a common problem, that's one reason Jay left the thing for a CaseLabs case.

Like I said every case will collect dust inside of it over time, My air 540 collected dust and we both know that case has superb airflow. I was saying your wrong because dust build up does not equal bad airflow. That is why you are just wrong.

I'm saying it has bad airflow because compared to any sane case your temps are higher than they would be in literally anything else, unless you want to be a nut and fill it with fans in which case congratulations for the extra noise.

Again wrong. I own the case and did air cooling in it. Temps were all of 1 degree higher then a air 540 and were on par with all the other cases I have used with just two intake fans in the front and one fan in the back. You keep saying all these things and have no experience of benchmarks to prove your case about this. I suggest you stop trying to argue something you dont really know about. Dust buildup over time =/= bad airflow.

...k

I'll ignore reviewers or have tested multitudes of cases and read a graph upside down.

Oh btw, I literally just explained that "Dust buildup over time =/= bad airflow." is not what I was saying, but hey if you want to not read you do you.

"case is terrible with terrible airflow"

"they're terrible for dust because there's no way to direct airflow through a box like that."

"literally just explained that "Dust buildup over time =/= bad airflow."

Your older posts beg to differ. Also you never once mentioned that dust buildup =/= bad airflow because the only thing you mention is that it has bad airflow because it builds up dust more. As for higher temps thats just false. If you want to see bad temps go to the nzxt H440. Hey if you have the graphs post em. Till then your just a guy who hasnt owned the case who makes baseless claims about it over dust collection.

Ah yes, I misspoke once, crucify me please. Case is terrible, temps are higher than they should be, it gets dust more than others, etc., internet will agree, you can disagree if you want. Basically any other case is better in every regard.

kthxbai sorry I'm sooo wrong /s

Sorry but your plain wrong. The case is not terrible for one and second temps were the same between the 900D, 760T, 780T, 450D, and a s340. Only case that actually had bad temps was the H440 from NZXT. As for dust collection the air 540 was pretty bad for that was worse than the 900D id have to dust it out every few days.

Your right though the internet agrees with you thats why they are rushing to your defense. Please actually own a lot of cases and the cases you talk about and back your statements up with either hard numbers or experience before being wrong and then defensive about being wrong next time.

Well I guess that's a no for the case. Any other recommendations? I really liked that case cause of the amount of room it has for basically everything. I want multiple rads, ton of fans. I also really liked the bottom row of fans that showed
