What is this worth?

Hi everyone!

My pc I built back in 2015 and was wondering how much value I would get out of it?

Here is a list of parts:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2BbgHN

not included is the case which is a corsair obsidian 650d

the gpu price of course is a bit overblown

any feedback I can get would be greatly appreciated!

You could probably sell that on craigslist for the price you built it for. PCs like that on ebay are selling for $750-1000, so around there I guess.

I was planning on craigslist, but the thing that got me thinking was that I wouldn't think most people that are looking for a gaming pc wouldn't already know a bit about it and are just buying one to game on right?

About $850, I'd say. A 4790k is still worth a lot, especially when sold with a Z97 board and a beefy cooler like the H100i. The bottleneck is the GPU, which is now handily beaten by an RX 480, which has dropped below $200 on sale. If it was a 780 Ti, this system would be worth a fair bit more.

The solid power supply, still competitive SSD, and great case are its other great assets.

Cooler Master NR200P v2 | ID Cooling Zoomflow 280 XT | SeaSonic Focus SGX-750 | Thermalright 2x140mm + 2x120mm aRGB

LG C2 OLED 48" 120hz | Epomaker TH80 (Gateron Yellow) | Logitech MX Master 3 | Koss Porta Pro Comm

You could sell this for $1200 and it'd still be better value than tons of pre-builts at that price.

yeah I agree, parts are still relevant but the thing is when looking to sell I feel like most people who are looking for a gaming pc wouldn't really know how to properly take care of one no?

If you're looking to upgrade, maybe you should sell parts individually, which could get you better value for each part sold.
