Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual and two monitors via HDMI

Hello,

planning to buy Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series http://pcpartpicker.com/product/fPFXsY/asus-geforce-gtx-1070-8gb-dual-video-card-dual-gtx1070-o8g.

It has two HDMI outputs, I would like to connect one to my 1080p monitor and one two my 4K TV. Light 4K gaming on my TV (FIFA, Mortal Kombat, NBA and other family fun :D ) and casual 1080p gaming on PC itself.
Will this work properly? I can only use HDMI, because it's only available inputs on my monitor and TV.

Thank you for your help

I am sorry for my english.

I think you can't run both HDMI at the same time, I pretty sure one is for VR and only can operate one at the time. I would run DVI or DP to your monitor and use HDMI for your TV.

So, HDMI to my TV and DP->HDMI converter to my monitor? In this case I could by any 1070, no need for dual HDMI card.

I am sorry for my english.

Essentially, does your monitor only have HDMI port? I would suggest grabbing DP cable. You can grab any 1070 basically.

I can't find any manual to confirm this.

That would be cool, but I can't find any info where that's confirmed or video with actually working setup :D

Cards have been able to use multiple HDMI ports for a few generations, it would be pretty bizarre to go backwards

It works. Problem is, you can't game in one room and watch videos in the other (unless you have your cable hooked into a different hdmi input on the tv, but again, no Youtube or NBA gaming on the TV and playing CS go in on the PC monitor at the same time). Both the TV and monitor would have the same thing on it.

There is enough youth in this world, how about a fountain of smart?
