Laptop modding - GL552

Hi all, i'm contemplating modifying my ASUS GL552VW. Currently it has the awful plastic back and a bad TN screen. 

 

I've found some listings on ebay for the metal back, which (should?) fit.

I'm also hoping to replace the TN screen with a Samsung LTN156HL02 IPS panel.

 

The screen model currently is N156HGE-EAB. Would the Samsung panel fit?

 

Anyone have experience in this? I'd love some pointers, thanks.

Screen fits. Make sure you get a real one though. That specific Samsung screen has tons of fakes.

 

The metal back panel should fit as well, but might be harder.

Alright, thanks. I've found a source for the screen and metal back. Going to go glossy.
