Pin connectors... Help

I'm working on the f panel

 

The pins go in vertically right?

 

So i looked at the manual and I'm even more confused. 

 

I have no idea what goes in from left to right...

 

Please help!!!

Look right under the pins, it shows you exactly what goes where.

 

From that view, the top left is PWR (power) LED (outside is positive, inside is negative).

 

Under that is your HDD LED (same configuration)

 

Right beside the PWR LED is your power switch.

 

And below that is your reset switch.

 

The single pin is left empty.

the wires should be labeled, just make sure that you check the polarity (ie...+ and - of the pins before plugging them in) they should just slide vertically down onto the pins

when you say outside is positive and inside is negative does. That mean they go in horizontally?

Correct.  Just look at the diagram below the pins.

Okay. I looked up guides on this and they said they were vertical. I guess that's what messed me up.

No it's not vertical.
