The Adata SX900 is now at 150 on ncix. I've been waiting for a slight price drop on the 840 evo (185 as of now) but it never happened. I'm trying not to bet on black friday / cyber monday if there are deals right now, like the adata one.

I'm going to be using it as a boot drive + some key programs, maybe 1 or 2 games top (250-256gb model). What I'm concerned about here are

1. lifespan

2. reliability

3. stability

I'm probably not going to notice the performance difference so I'm not too concerned about that, unless I'm completely wrong and there is a very noticeable difference. Which one should I go for? Or should I risk it and wait for sales in two weeks. thanks guys

Adata has been a trusted company for yeard but Samsung design and manufacutre their own chips which are ery good. EVOs are probably one of the best consumer grade SSD that you can buy. A number of people will trust both companies but I will persoanlly lean for Samsung.

I don't like samsung as a company but their SSDs are really good.

But I fear for the SSD market. Samsung always enters a market and literally outproduces all the competition. (Look at Qimonda they went bankrupt thanks to samsung awhile back)

Go for the adata--much cheaper.

That's capitalism :( The ADATA drives are trusted by TekSydicate. You could also go for Sandisk, Intel, Crucial or Samsung
