So I'm getting my pc back today

cpu is running at stock and passed a 6 hour stress after having the new capacitors soldered on

and I have a new sabertooth mark 2 motherboard

the guy was fairly confidant that my chip would last it's life time in the build

so should I just dial in my old oc and hope it works

or take it slow

my old oc was only 0.016v on the offset to hit 4.7 stable

or is it it too risky to oc because of it having capacitors replaced

You replaced a cap on your mobo or CPU?

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I remember that you mentioned that the capacitator was replaced.... I wouldn't really worry about the CPU die then. Just OC it as you used to, just take it slowly.
