why even ask if the site says it wont work...

Just turn rotate the cooler, the temps will be the same.

Probably not, you'll have to check the clearance under the cooler and how tall the ram is.

Have you considered something like the Shadow rock 2?

Yes, because it's a slim heatsink.

The front fan may block the first ram slot so if you are planning to use the first ram slot, keep it below 32mm.
