I've never streamed before, but I was curious if a cheap 6 core would suffice.

I'm not sure how streaming works, does processor quality affect the resolution you can stream at? I do everything at 1080p usually.

Compared to my Ivy Bridge i5 3450 the R5 1600 looks better in every way.

2 more cores,

8 more threads

.1 higher base clock,

.1 higher boost clock,

2 more mb of L2 cache

10 more mb of L3 cache,

is unlocked,

lower TDP.

A R5 1600 (6C/12T right?) would spank the shit out of any i5 when it comes to multi-tasking (streaming pretty much).

I can't seem to find any AM4 mITX motherboards. Do they even exist yet?

They do but not for sale iirc

Okay, thanks.

I'm curious if they would have a B350 chipset mITX board. I've never actually overclocked before either. Maybe I wouldn't have to if AMD's precision boost is any good. Doesn't it work like Intel's Turbo boost? I don't actually know how either of them work. Are they like a built in overclock? Does it overclock all cores or only one?
