Alright, so i'm currently designing a new build for myself, and I want to make it as silent as possible. I want to get a SeaSonic fanless PSU to make it quieter, but they only make them in up to 520w models. So, with that in mind, do you think I could skate by on a 520w with this system?

edit: Since I wanna overclock, I won't risk the 520w. But does anyone have any recommendations on good silent PSU's for my system?

If you don't plan on overclocking you should be fine, if you were to overclock, i wouldn't risk it.

Ah rip then. I want to get my 7700k to at least 4.6 ghz. I wish SeaSonic made models higher than 520w :(

Just buy a high quality semi fanless psu such as the EVGA G3 or Corsair RMx/RMi. Your system is only going to be as quiet as it's loudest component.

I picked a be quiet! Dark power Pro 11 650w. And the loudest component is probably gonna be the GPU tbh. I'm gonna be getting an EVGA SC 1080ti

I would take a Corsair RMi over the BeQuiet.

I mostly chose the be quiet because it's apparently one of the most silent psu's out there.

The Corsair will be just as quiet.

Hmm looks like they do reach around the same noise level at both idle and load. Seems i'll have to check out the corsair
