I'm looking for Overwatch performance at High Settings 1080p on the Ryzen 5 chips. If anyone has bought a Ryzen 5 chip and has Overwatch, I and many others would love to hear your results in performance!

Thanks.

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070

MOBO: ASUS Z370-F STRIX

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133MHz

Should be fine :) 6 cores 12 threads that are 1.8% slower at 1080p  and 1.8% faster at 4K than an i5-7600K for the same price? That's a win in my book. You lose less than 10% of performance compared to a 7700K at 1080p with a cheaper, quad-core 1500X.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 Motherboard: MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION
AIO: Corsair H150i Pro RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic PSU: Corsair RM850x White

Would it be better than my current i5 4460?

The 6 core one? Much better. The quad-core one also better, just not as much :P

Thank you very much! I'll keep this in mind when I get the money to purchase Ryzen.

We all must salute AMD, forced 6c/12t on Cannon Lake, if Intel could game alone pretty sure we'd have 4c/8t on mainstream i7 forever xD

Though remember that if you need better Overwatch performance, upgrade the GPU first. It's the main bottleneck in your system.

This is incredible to me, the value of R5 1600 is just amazing. You pretty much get an i7-5820K-6800K at the price of an i5 with lower power consumption... Gaming performance is not far from it as well.
