if it's a single dead pixel,you should be fine,if a lot of pixel's are dead,it can cause issues while operating

YOu spent 100+ on a monitor but your to lazy to return it why not spend 30 min to get it returned and get what you paid for

Some manufacturers have a minimum requirement on the amount of dead pixels you need before you can return it. Most commonly I believe this is about three.

Personally, I would definitely get a replacement for that one.  You will probably regret not doing so, it won't really CAUSE any problems later down the road, but could mean that something is wrong with your monitor, like a messed up lamination.  So, yes, you should DEFINITELY get it replaced.  h
