Dead pixel

I have a pixel on my new monitor that is just always green, it's not really too much of a big deal for me, i know benq has their dead pixel return thingy i'm far too lazy for that though, was just wounder if it can cause issues further down the track.

if it's a single dead pixel,you should be fine,if a lot of pixel's are dead,it can cause issues while operating

YOu spent 100+ on a monitor but your to lazy to return it why not spend 30 min to get it returned and get what you paid for

Some manufacturers have a minimum requirement on the amount of dead pixels you need before you can return it. Most commonly I believe this is about three.

Personally, I would definitely get a replacement for that one.  You will probably regret not doing so, it won't really CAUSE any problems later down the road, but could mean that something is wrong with your monitor, like a messed up lamination.  So, yes, you should DEFINITELY get it replaced.  h

Yea i'll take it back then the pixel is close to the center and always green.

So i pushed my finger into the screen where the pixel was green, now it works fine?? Yet it's been green for the last 2 months
