Skyrim legendary edition viable?

I would like to know if buying skyrim legendary edition on g2a.com and other cd key websites are still a viable option for playing the game since steam has replaced it which the special edition which is much more expensive

Skyrim Legendary Edition (or at least the original Skyrim and all its included content) is still available on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/635/?snr=1_5_9__403

 

That bundle is a bit cheaper than the Special Edition ($43 vs $49 CND).
