Display recomendations.

am wanting to upgrade my current 34 inch widescreen with an Asus ROG 34 Gsync 100hz display or a 65 inch or bigger 4k TV with HDR.

 

Are there any tvs that have display port and can have 75-100hz input?

Considering that DisplayPort is marketed for computers, there's almost no chance of finding a TV with DisplayPort on it. And similarly, anything faster than 60Hz for input. You're better off getting a video card with HDMI 2.0

Don't get a TV if you want to game. Unless it's casual stuff.

The input lag is awful and makes it useless in anything that's even a little bit competitive. The delay is just too long.

there aren't any tv's that use displayport, as far as i know. and the input lag is noticeable. I would just go with the monitor. You will have a better gaming experience.

Thanks guys.  I'm looking forward to checking Gsync out.  just would like best option since I'm looking at a thousand plus dollar monitor.

Current display is an LG ips 34 wide with 75 Hz and 2560x1080. Freesync.   I want a gsync higher res and higher Hz.      Hdr looks amazing and I've heard some tv's have displayport.       Also I'm running gtx1080 in sli at moment
