Hi I am starting my first build and picking parts as I go, this is what I have at this point and just wondering if there are any bottle necks (or over kills, maybe the motherboard?) that I should be looking out for or if there are any alternative parts I should be looking at for this build. Any and all advice is welcome, thanks in advance (I know I do not have a power supply yet haha) 58eb7d2630850_Screenshot(4).thumb.png.fe7ae29acff10c9815cdfd01e48a3a22.png58eb7ccb63c4e_Screenshot(3).thumb.png.f3a472a5749ed12663f8d6c966febbcb.png

550w/650w is perfect for that

but that board is overpriced, and so is that case, and so is that GPU.. generally everything besides some items at PCCG are overpriced as fuck

use au.pcpartpicker.com to gauge prices of parts. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/mr/ijk/V4M323 is a $750 1080 for example

idk

What's your budget? (What currency? USD, AUD, etc?)

Are you willing to buy from other retailers to save money?

Looks good in principle. Throw in a 500-600W PSU and you're good.

One thing though; to my (European) eyes, the bundle for the mobo, RAM and CPU looks like a rip-off, even considering the AUD. I don't know the state of the Australian PC market, but I'd check if there wasn't a cheaper option.

Well, any Z-series mobo will be fine for overclocking. Considering you're getting a K-series CPU, it'd be a waste not to get an overclockable mobo. Beyond that, it comes down to the features you're looking for.

And damn, @Droidbot. Here I thought the British PC market was crap.
