It might increase the input lag, because of active digital to analog conversion, but this won't be noticeable.

VGA is analog, which can pick up some interference on the cable which might result in a grainy-ish display. Not really noticeable.

Most VGA connectors on devices support up to 1920x1200, so not sure what you're trying to say now :P

Well a monitor that doesn't have hdmi but has VGA is almost always lower than 1080p.

Oh like that. Yeah that is somewhat valid.

But it really depends on what monitor OP has, I have two monitors in house that both only have VGA and are both 1080p. They are also like 6-7 years old now.

Yeah i don't remember anyone i know having VGA monitors with 1080P. Was probably not very popular in my area.
