Earbud recommendation for cheap

Go to solution Solved by Droidbot,

Xiaomi Piston Hybrids

Fucking solid earbuds, solid build, kevlar cable, etc. Dual drivers.

What Aytex recommended pre much

Been using a Samsung headphone (in-ear)/earbud that came with my S5 Neo, everything is fine, and I lost it

Now I am using a half dead Philips headphones and I also lost it

So looking for something to replace (must be in ear)

Budget around ~20 CAD, the cheaper the better

Just need it for my phone. I want it to be reliable in long term (high and good quality/good built) and not having to replace in few months. Got a cheap WCKED from Walmart and died after 2 months or less of usage. It was blue and very cheap.

No color preference. Though blue would be nice. Oh and a volume control + media control (play/pause) would be nice but not needed

Just need to be cheap. Sound quality does not need to be best. I listen to music

Owl City mainly (pop/synthpop/electronic)

And some other game OST. Almost no heavy metal, rock and stuff like that

Here are to cover some artists I have on my phone: CHVRCHES, FUN., Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, FIFA OST, Life is Strange OST, Adam Young Scores, Port Blue, Sky Sailing, Of Monster and Men, Walk the Moon (rarely), JAmes Blunt (rarely), Phil Colins, some Disney OST I listened when I was a kid, Foals, Syd Matters, Jose Gonzalez, M83, MGMT

My go to cheap earbuds have been the Panasonic ErgoFit earbuds. Sure, they aren't that good but for the price ($10usd) they are amazing. They don't have inline controls and don't feel that good but I have never had one break on me. The only reason I have bought so many is because I have lost them many times, which is fine because they are cheap.

I think this is the Amazon canada link:

Seems cheap, I want to see if the build quality is good

That's what I thought when I first got them. But I have never had one break on me (longest streak  of not losing one was about a year and it was fine when I lost it). They feel cheap but also never broke even after getting abused all day for months. Even after getting caught on door handles (the bane of my existence) many times, they just flew out of my phone and didn't break at all. I strongly recommend them and even if they don't end up working well for you, it's just $10.

I will have to put this suggestion on the bottom of the list because I can't stand red but if that's the only option I might go for it. Do you have it? What is the reason for recommending it?

The reason for reccomending it is because it was the 2nd result in google if you typed earbuds.

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Panasonic RPHJE-120. Absolutely no competition for this, not even when it competes with headphones more than twice the price. I've had pairs last me anywhere from a year to three, but you have to look after them; they're not very hardy. However, you will not find a better pair of earphones for the price, or twice as much.
