Well I'm looking for a 3000 usd to 4000 usd gaming pc. I'm thinking 3k on the actual parts and $1k on keyboard, mouse, monitor(s). It has to have a theme, I'm thinking of black and white but any theme is welcome, will be used for gaming and streaming. I won't buy it yet, I'll probably wait for new new cpu and other components to get released, but i want to see what i can get right now

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

SLI will obviously give you more GPU horsepower and your streaming will benefit from the higher core/thread count of the ryzen chip over a 7700k.

SLI has some issues in terms of scaling. You won't get 2x the performance of 1 GPU in basically any game. Also 3- and 4-way SLI has been "discontinued"

2 x 1080 ti's is overkill for 1440p. That Monitor is also Freesync. You don't need 32GB Ram either.

I think 144hz is too extreme for me anyways, I could not justify myself buying one. And he would need IPS for editing and other things that require color reproduction. Also I think G-Sync is too expensive, as its a difference between having a second monitor or having a minuscule amount of fluidity. I would like to add that it really is not. If the person is going to be streaming and running other software in the background, it might actually be justified. Are you actually saying that in an overkill system like this you should not have top-class performance?

I thought I had some money... Oh wait... I spent it all ;(

There are a bit better build for the same money but:

This will be stunning

Is all black with software controllable rgb( everithing will be sinceonised with aura sink )

It will be silent

It will be a great gaming and working experience with the ultrawide monitor ( but if you can wait there should be a better version coming soon)

Don't  go with sli, is a great assle ( 2gtx 980ti here) and less and less game are getting proper sli support.

Some compromises had to be made so the x34 could fit but I think it turned out quite nicely. Theme is black with RGB. Also SLI does fade away in terms of game support so you could save $750 on that

Wow... this is going to be a kickass build sir.

Why founder's edition? Evga has a 2 fan card for the same price.

A M.2 Nvme SSD would be a welcome addition or even a SSD and HDD combo.

2x16GB would allow for future-proofing and would be around the same price.

Hang on...you think G-Sync is too expensive, but you put 2 x 1080 ti's in there ? That makes a lot of sense o.O

It is pointless having a Freesync monitor with an Nvidia gpu as you won't be able to use the adaptive sync. A better option would be a single GTX 1080 ti and 1440p IPS G-Sync monitor.

You don't need to add in the WX license. The OP most likely has WX already.

Wireless mouses are generally a no-go and are less accurate and better for laptops and etc.

STILL IT's WIRELESS meaning that you need to replace the batteries every few days or weeks. LASER sensors are worse than OPTICAL sensors.

Fair enough. 1 1080ti should still be able to drive AAA games at 3440x1440.
