4k Commercial display

Ill start this off by saying i don't know much about displays but I'm extremely curious to see if someone out there is using something like this http://www.necdisplay.com/p/large-screen-displays/x551uhd for a all around movie and gaming monitor.

the idea is rather amusing... play The Witcher 3 on this on a couch with a xbox controller would be gold

I'd think a 55" TV of decent quality would be a much better choice.

my concerns are mainly input lag and future proofing. most 55 to 65 inch 4K TV's I've seen have quite a bit of processing introducing input lag.

I have a LG 55" tv connected to my pc and don't notice any input lag (I'm sure there is some I just don't notice it). And I use a wireless mouse and keyboard too. Don't play csgo type games though. Witcher 3 is amazing on it.

Well, it's better than any 4K display smaller than 50", that's for sure. But I can't imagine the response times for twitchy trigger happy games. However, since you're playing the Witcher or other non-FPS games, it'll probably be fine, as long as you're sticking to 50" or larger 4K displays.
