So i was wondering if you get better FPS when you plug in your HDMI into the GPU vs plugging it into the motherboard. Is there an FPS difference?!

plugging to mobo wil use igpu from intel/amd gpu

plugging to gpu will use gpu itself

yes there is a fps difference depending on what cpu and gpu they are

in majority case there will be big because igpu sucks and gpu is better

yes, always use the display outs on the gpu. Otherwise your using the igpu on the board(unless your running something like optimus).

In 99% you want to have your monitor cable connected to gpu

Like most other said, plug it in to you GPU.

 

Otherwise it would be like buying an expensive car but instead using a moped with a flat tire.

Think of the GPU as the engine of your graphics, not plugging cables into it means that you don't use it.
