I'm getting 1600x in a few days and am shopping for a b350 mobo. I've decided on the "Gigabyte GA-AB350-GAMING" but noticed there is a "Gigabyte GA-AB350-GAMING 3 " Whats the difference?

The compare section on pcpartpicker gave me this image below. same

probably I/O and headers on the board, like fanheaders, front I/O headers, watercooling pump headers and so on

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

What would make it worth the extra few bucks for me?

more USB ports, more internal connectors and so on, if you dont need it then dont get the expensive one. i always go for the cheapest motherboard that has the I/O, features and chipset i need and want seeing as there is nothing to gain preformance wise with going with a more expensive motherboard.
