Posted April 8, 2017 EDIT* I don't what should I pick for the Processor, but I know what to buy if it's Graphics Card (GTX 1050ti). Can someone tell me what should I first upgrade to my CPU, the Graphics Card or the Processor? And please tell me the reason why should I upgrade it. You can see my Computer's Information below. I'm gonna upgrade my RAM, Keyboard, Mouse & Mousepad to Extended, and my Headset eventually. I'm not sure what model you have (form factor of chassis), but I think the default PSU is 275W. nVidia quotes a maximum power draw of 75W for the card and recommends a minimum of 300W for the PSU. You probably don't need to upgrade it, but I'm just making you aware. Of more concern is whether or not the PSU has the necessary connectors, but it appears the 1050Ti doesn't have auxiliary connectors, so you're fine there. PSU = Power Supply Unit (your power supply) The simplified version is, nVidia recommends a higher wattage power supply than the one that comes by default with your Optiplex 7010 if you want to use the 1050Ti. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1050-ti/specifications Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/763590-what-should-i-upgrade/#findComment-9647757 Share on other sites
 Increasing the wattage rating of your PSU (by replacing it) increases how much wattage it is able to deliver. Example, you could have a 500W PSU but the things connected to it only draw 250W. Worst likely thing that could happen is that the system will not start up due to insufficient power. Worry about replacing the power supply only if you have to. Dell's pretty good in terms of how-to guides when it comes to replacing parts as well.
