issue with brackets for gpu

I have a GT 210 want to upgrade to GTX 1050 and have a single bracket so can't buy GPU which has a double bracket I saw Zotac GTX 1050 which is a single bracket so will I be able to swap my gt210 with GTX 1050

Mind posting a picture of your system or a link to the model? I'm pretty sure it will fit but I want to see where it's going to make sure.

They are both designed for single brackets but it's more of a situation of if your case has the clearance for a dual height (slot) card.

Old serial port. Just zip tie it somewhere if you can't disconnect it. Then get a dual slot card.

Still the PCIe slot is allingned over the first bracket hence if I unplug the cable I still cannot allingned it

Yea but now you have space for two slots.

If the mobo can power it, the card will work. 

 

Dont see how it could cause an issue if you never had anything plugged in. It's just a port. I'm sure the pc works fine with an empty USB port.

Lol okay... And btw my mobo is Intel h61m nd I have 450w psu and 6gb ram (just to mention)

I don't know if that 1050 is externally powered or not. If it is and you have a 6pin that can power it. Or it isn't, and the mobo has enough pci power for it you would be ok.

Yuz I have extra two 4 pin power connector for GPU (I guess)

You mean molex? Gpu's are only 6 or 8 pin.

Prebuilt units don't always have the proper connections.

I have the power connectors for GPU umm.. I bought the psu less than a week ago so no prebuilt... Whatever I don't think I'll be buying tht much high power GPU BT a normal one so will it work like the MSI gtx 105p oc?

The pc is a prebuilt. The gpu there is already 2 slot. Just doesn't use a cover on the back of the i/o. 

 

As as far as length goes, you will have to measure.
