Hello everyone!

I am new to building a PC and need your help.

I have two options at the moment (I am open for you to suggest more)

Option 1:

Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor £52.00

Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard £67.80

ADATA XPG Z1 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory £65.99

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive £41.80

Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Phoenix Video Card £137.99

Thermaltake Versa H15 MicroATX Mid Tower Case £31.89

EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

Option 2 (recommend by my friend):

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ULTRA-FAST-Quad-Core-8GB-1TB-Desktop-Gaming-PC-Computer-4-2GHz-7650K-R7-Graphics-/191025096255

He says it's a good first PC for me that I can upgrade later.

I am open to any suggestions as I currently have no clue what I should do.

Thanks :)

Definitely option 1.

Are there any Changed you would recommend for option 1?

1. Get 2400MHz RAM. Kaby Lake supports it.

2. Get better PSU for a little more money (like Corsair CXM grey, Seasonic S12II)

3. If you can extend your budget, get RX470/RX480/GTX1060 and get a 240/250/256GB SSD

Ok thanks,

Someone else yesterday recommended I get a better CPU would you agree?

Yes but only if you can spend more. Ryzen 3/5 or Intel i5 are good options.

Desktop specs:

Spoiler

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB Gigabyte B550M DS3H mATX

Asrock Challenger Pro OC Radeon RX 6700 XT Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8Gx2) 3600MHz CL18 Kingston NV2 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

Montech Century 850W Gold Tecware Nexus Air (Black) ATX Mid Tower

Option 1 all the way, Option 2 doesn't even have a GPU, it's an AMD APU, the GTX 1050ti would blow that out of the water and piss on it

Yours faithfully
