Sleeving RM1000i Cables

So, I was about to begin sleeving my cables for the RM1000i PSU and came across a little flaw, I'm hoping all the RM1000i cables are default like this since it will make my next few days a pain if I try to sleeve them. I've included a picture as to what I believe is a capacitor that has been connected to 2 wires which is like this for 24pin, cpu pin and the PCIE. That explains why all my cables came with a single sleeve around all the wires...?

 

 

The wires that are connected with this are on the CPU side, wire diagram on paint below LOL (clip at the top)

 

Is this to do with more power delivery or what? I wish I could just remove them so I can sleeve (not buying extensions since I already have all the sleeve). Otherwise I'll just refund this PSU and go for another one. A friend of mine bought the HX1200i and I'll be sleeving the cables tonight, they are all just flat and not sleeved, will but much easier to sleeve haha!

 

A year ago, I bought the RM850 and I never saw anything like this...

The capacitors are designed to lessen ripple and dips from sudden power draws, while it's best to not remove them most sleeved cable kits don't have them in place.

Yep as W-L says they are designed to lessen ripple, you can safely remove them, or I would say that extensions would be good too, then you don't have to mess with them.
