it's a massive downgrade from the cx450m, don't get it. if you can't get the cx450m see if the seasonic s12ii or eco is available instead.

Jesus Christ, I can barely read your post on the night theme.

Assuming you're also going to have a GPU, no, it's a significant step down in quality. The Corsair VS series are terrible... never cheap out on the power supply.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K - 4.5 GHz | Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO | RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 | SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB | GPU: MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6GB | PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 | Case: NZXT Phantom 530 | Cooling: CRYORIG R1 Ultimate | Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Peripherals: Corsair Vengeance K70 and Razer DeathAdder

VS is shit, based on an old chieftec design from years ago.

It's meant for office machines and web browsing boxes not proper gaming rigs and a serious step down from the CXM.

If you can find:

- Antec NEO ECO

- Corsair CSM or CXM

- Seasonic ECO or S12II units

Or send us some units that you can get for a similar price

idk

I sifted through Flipkart, Amazon.in, ebay.in and can tell you that the selection you guys have is pretty darn sparse.

That's the best option for value as far as I can tell.
