So apparently I have magical ram

I've been getting sporadic 'Uncorrectable DRAM ECC error at CPU 02 DIMM 2A' messages during post for a while now. I decided to run just that stick alone and run memtest on it. It ran fine for a while, and then I noticed this.

I hope I'm not screwed here.

go into bios and check ram settings, save your profile if you can and load optimized defaults and see what changes and run the test again

I went into bios and loaded failsafe defaults, and it still happened. It also gave me several 'no ram detected' errors while trying to reboot and get into the bios. I'm willing to say that this stick is officially bad. Not the end of the world though, it was only about 30 bucks for all six of the sticks that this one came with. 

So that's why everything is on fire?

CAS 4-0-0-0 would be a Godsend if it worked.

Ram timings of 4-0-0-0 are physically impossible, and would mean that the ram has a latency of 0 clock cycles. Even stuff like dominator platinums don't come close to 4-0-0-0.

So that's why everything is on fire?

The clock speed change was because I had the bios load failsafe defaults, and that's what it defaulted to. It also passed at 1066 MHz, but I didn't get a picture.

So that's why everything is on fire?
