CPU Upgrade?

I feel as if i post this alot, but i struggle so much about choosing whats going to run my pc for 2 years at least so.

I need a CPU upgrade, my specs are as follows

AMD A8-7600@3.1ghz

Gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2

8GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3

CX430 (Ill upgrade this)

Bitfenix Neos

GTX 760 2GB

This current rig is presenting a huge bottleneck in most games.

Do i go with;

i5-6600k + z170 board (around £300-350)

i7-2600k + z77 board (around £250)

Im not fussed on buying used, but i finally want to stop (at least for a while) of using AMD cpus.

Id also need recommendations on motherboard (M-ATX, 32GB Max)

-No Biggie

A8-7600 {} Gigabyte FM2+ Board {} CX430 {} Corsair Vengeance LP 8gb {} MSI GTX 760 2GB {}

Console.WriteLine("C# is aids");

Yes, but like ive said im sick to death of problems with AMD cpus, i just want something that works. That being said it looks good, but as of current there is no difference in price to intel (if you factor in motherboards, ryzen ram and the CPU

Yeah, my bad I forgot RAM on the i7.  I still suggest an i7 as games are using more and more threads and i5's may soon be bottom of the totem pole and struggle.

Yeah, well with my GTX 760 (still fucking capable i tell you) surely a i5 would suffice? At the moment in GTA 5 i get around 40 fps on ultra and 40 fps on low, this is the same in CSGO, dirty bomb, GTA5, H1Z1. So ive narrowed it down to a bottleneck in the CPU. I just want 60 fps @ 900p in most games

Getting a better GPU and what is essentially an  i3 will still give you better returns on your money.  You can probably sell the GPU and CPU/MOBO/RAM  to finance the new GPU as well

google sums it up nicely, not criticizing the GPU  (my bro has a 770, I have 1050 ti) but if you are thinking of upgrading with a budget of $350 you'll get so much more back with a more recent GPU and weaker CPU.
