I'm building my first budget pc for around $550 which is entry level. I want to play battlefield 1 how much vram or memory do I need to play the game at 55-60FPS 1080p budget graphics processing unit

I'd get at least 8GB of RAM and a core i5. BF1 is known to be CPU heavy

yes but 8gb should be enough since he has only a 550 dollers budget

the more focus would be on gpu and cpu because those would hold back more than ram

My bad not the memory / ram I meant like vram I think that's what it is that's in the graphics card like gtx 1050 2GB GDDR5 and the gtx 1050ti 4GB GDDR5

that's not the issue. in a budget of 550 dollars spending the extra 50 to 60 dollars on 16 vs 8 gb of ram makes a huge difference in what cpu and gpu they can afford. they can always get more ram later but its much more of an investment to replace a cpu or gpu.

get the rx 470 if you can. there is one for only slightly more than the gtx 1050 ti.

Would a i3 or pentium g4560 be a good budget choice but it being the 7th gen dual core with hyper threading? I'm trying to build a entry level to last me for a year then upgrade later be when I save up for funds. Budget is really at $450 to $500 which is pretty tough but really don't want to spend over that for my first build and first time pc gaming just want a smooth experience
