Back plate

Ok so for the back plate im making should i use acrylic or aluminum if aluminum can i paint it with plasti dip? and how high should it be off the graphics cards

It's up to you, but for aluminum you will need to use plastic standoffs to ensure the plate doesn't make contact with any of the solder points on the board, with acrylic this is not a worry. Both methods can work with plasti-dip or spray paint.
