I apologize in advance  for not doing this on pcpartspicker. This is because they do not have all the parts that i have listed here on their site.

This is going to be a build that is primarily for gaming (But will also be used for programming)

Open the following spoiler to find out what questions I have for you (Also can you tell me about your experiences with these components?):

Spoiler

* Can I run most AAA games on max settings 1080P Or higher? (I know that this build is overkill for 1080 but I'll upgrade to 4K later)

* Does everything fit in the case?

* Is there any compatibility issues?

* Do I have enough power?

COMPONENTS:

Thanks in advance! :)

I think you can do something like Vengance pro memory, just go for highest frequency in your budget.

SSD, it's very important, get a SSD, something like 128 GB Sandisk or ADATA.

Rest IMO, is good

Heard that it's safer to use than a normal HDD but is it really necessary? I mean I know it's fast and all that but I've currently got no SSD and am fine. But thanks for your suggestion :)

I'd recommend a Ryzen 5 1600.

More cores, and with fast RAM, it shouldn't be a gaming problem.

Whoops. I'm sorry.

I've read so many of these threads that my mind has basically learned to only look to the specs sheet.

Thanks,But does the motherboard support it?

No. You'd need an AM4 motherboard, which would be either X370 or B350 chipset.

When you're on open-world stuffs, SSD matters alot as not everything can be loaded into RAM. Also, SSD are not unsafe, they're really reliable stuffs, back in the day like 2 years ago, I could've agreed, but now they're just amazing. Also, Sandisk man, the company tells everything.

(I said it's safer to use an SSD not safer to use HDD by the way) Would it still be do-able if I bought the PC as it is currently but added the SSD afterwards? (Budget and all that)

woops, sorry I misread in hurry.

I think you can add up a $50-60 investment, which would turn out to be really useful, believe me.

You can definitely tone down a bit on PSU (Get some EVGA one or Seasonic), Case(All upon you) and optical drive (get a LG one)

Also, I may be wrong but that cooler isn't the best choice.

I don't agree at all, as for gaming, 6700k is better because of more single core speed

6700K definitely has faster single core speed, but for games a 1600 is good enough, and although it has worse single core performance, it gets pretty damn close with fast RAM.

with 3600Mhz RAM, the CCX bottleneck is basically gone, and Ryzen 7 preforms comparably to a 5Ghz 7700K in gaming.

So with 3000Mhz RAM, a 1600(X?) would be better than a 4.5Ghz 6700K, or at least close.

Also, try pcpartpicker for once, it'll really help you save bucks and would not compromise in quality.

As I said before i did try but it didn't have the parts,Never tried buying so maybe I'll give it a shot. Thanks

RAM wouldn't actually help that much over the clock speed, like the ratio would be off.

There was a video of linus explaining about RAM stuff and how they actually doesn't matter much.

You probably don't know this, but Ryzen infinity fabric speed is linked to RAM speed.

the actual bandwith of the RAM doesn't matter in this case, but the bandwith of the CCX Interconnects that changes and makes the difference.

Get a 7700k

Get a better cooler

Cheaper motherboard

Don't get a Founder's Edition card

Get a better PSU, EVGA G2 or Corsair RMx

Don't get a 1080p monitor pairing with a GTX 1080

You don't need WD Green, get Seagate Barracuda

Get an SSD too

Won't getting the 6700k help him save bucks for almost the same perf. and he already is planning to move to 4k, so that won't be bottleneck...

I agree on SSD one.
