Have you changed whats plugged into the hub itself? Also what USB standard is the hub? 2, 3, 3.1? They all have different power specs as to what can be supplied to the devices.

Computer USB ports usually output 5V 0.5A. A smartphone charger outputs 5V 1A and a tablet charger 5V 2A. Are you plugging in tablets and phones?

Does it have a external power port? As in the USB hub.

Did this USB hub come with a cable that plugs into the wall? If so is it plugged in?

Otherwise not as many devices will be able to be plugged in at a time.

The hub doesn't require a power supply. It gets all its power from my usb port. It was working for a few weeks and it stopped working when I opened my computer 30 minutes ago

Well here's the most generic help desk question which is always asked.

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it in again?

I have a seperate micro USB input in my computer USB hub, giving it extra power. I usually give it extra power through an external USB power hub (connected directly to a  power outlet). This however gives me some other weird issues, like not recognizing the USB devices in the hub when the computer starts untill I unplug the extra power. Then again it's an Aliexpress hub so this is expected... for some reason.

Hahaha yes. I've also tried restarting my computer

Did you try plugging the hub into another computer? Preferably a gunny-pig one just in case something goes wrong.

I'm not even plugging anything into it and my computer can't supply enough power. It's 2.0

Any chance you can open the thing up? See if there's any skid marks or if something let the magic smoke out?
