First PC

I'm planning to build a pc. I have choosen some components but I'm not sure if they work together.

 

My components:

I haven't decided wich CPU cooler I'm gonna use.

Do you need windows 10 pro? it costs more... also a cryorg h7 is good if you dont want to water cool but want decent air cooling. otherwise great build

ok the first thing that i see that is way overkill is that psu. you don't need a 1000 watt psu for a system like that. other than that all i can think of changing is the ram to some faster ram because faster ram doesn't really cost that much more if at all.

I have a 1000W PSU because I want to buy a second GPU if I have the money for it

You don't need a 1000w PSU, a 550w will run that system perfectly fine.

Get Faster ram, 3000mhz is the sweet spot

As for cooler, the Kraken X52 or 62 are firm favourites, Corsair H100i v2 is decent as well

 

other than that it looks good.

i think the major decision you need to make now is what gtx 1070 you plan on getting and what cpu cooler you plan on getting.

If that is the case get a good 850w and instead of adding a second GPU just buy a 1080ti

don't get a second gpu get a faster gpu. also even with 2 gtx 1070s 1000w psu is still a bit overkill

yes manufacturer matters if i would be in your case i would get a 1080 ti from asus 1000 watts are killing i would get 750 or 800 watt PSU

Unfortunately I can't afford a GTX 1080 TI

what is the budget for the build? there are probably ways to fit in a gtx 1080 or 1080ti pretty easily. i mean you were planning on getting a 200 dollar psu

600 W will do fine with dual 1070. Also get a 1080 instead if you're considering a dual 1070.

get asus strix card but you can push the limits and performance will be cool because it has a huge heatshink and 3 fans

depending on if you have space for a longer card i would go with the asus strix. if you don't have room for a longer card i would go with the msi gaming x.

The case is so much too big, more than enough room for 1080ti strix, if all goes to shit take out one or two drive cages.

honestly between saving some money on the case and the psu a gtx 1080ti should be possible. that cases seems way more expensive than necessary.
