New to networking. Will this switch work?

So I need to take an ethernet signal from a wall plug that is just a really long cable connected to a router on the other side of my house. I want to connect 2 and more pcs in my room to the ethernet. Will this switch work? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000BVYT3/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=7407L4GBC0SQ&coliid=I112IFT9CX860F&psc=1

Can i just plug one cable in from the wall then 2 out going to each pc?

Yeah. Not much more to say, just plug and play.
