Hi, im getting the Klipsch RB-10 speakers, because they are on sale and ive heard pretty good things and im getting the klipsch reference series 10in subwoofer to go along with it. I was wondering how to connect it to my pc. Do i just plug it into the audio ports on my mobo, which is Realtek ALC1220 or Purity Sound 4 it says both, and what wires do i need? Also, is it worth buying a sound card if im doing this? thank you for help i am pretty stupid with stuff like this. Also im getting a little dot mk2 amp and i want to connect both of these, what do i do? sorry im pretty dense thank you

Uhm m8 you need a speaker amp for those speakers

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

Oh ok well what can I do to get them to play what I play on my PC and what amp is cheap and good

SMSL SA50 should do the job. The sub would then connect via the orange 3.5 on your mobo.

I would personally recommend skipping the sub and putting the money towards better speakers.
