From everywhere I read as well as Asus themselves. they still plan on releasing the 1080 ti Strix sometime during the last week of March. 

Reviews have already gotten their review samples and they keep on teasing it on their twitter. 

 

MSI has already released their 1080 ti Armor edition and its been available on Newegg for a week or so now.  

It's just been sold out right after they restock is as usual as it is with new high end GPU's on 1st months release.

Hello,

 

Based on previous experiences with graphics cards or any pc components, are new items or preorders generally made available at start of business day or just completely random? Probably early in the week like monday-tuesday?  I realize this may sound silly. But I've been waiting on the strix 1080 ti for over a month and assume they will sell out within minutes from the hype i've read. I'm just looking for any general tips bc I work an 8-5 and can't sit around and monitor sales sites waiting for strix to pop up  all day for weeks/months. There is no way to get an auto-notification from newegg/amazon/asus when something becomes available is there?

 

Are ASUS and other companies just trying to wait it out and get the other companies to show their cards/prices first? I assume that would be the only reason they would leave their community in the dark regarding the release date, especially when most were expecting it to be released mid march.

usiually they are quite random

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
