Hello, i have receved an old hard drive from my cousin, its 180gb, i tried to boot my pc, but it kept throwing me back to the boot menu. I even tried the windows installation media n shit to install new windows, but the hard drive shows up there with 0mb space... I cannot format it.... I think i might not have put the motherboard connector in completely but it doesnt go all the way in. Its out and u cant push it in no matter how hard u try. Also whenever i start the computer the hard drive makes this weird noice. Any ideas how do i install windows? Cpu- i3-6100, motherboard - H110M-Pro-VD, ram 4gb ,430w corsair powersupply

Hard Disk Drivers are very sensitive, they die easy, buy a solid state drive.
