Hey I was wondering if I would be able to get these two things into my machine and if it would work?

Intel i3-6100 3.7 GHz Processor

RX-460 Video Card

 

Current Specs:

AMD Athlon 5350
2GB Asus Radeon R7 240
Gigabyte GA-AM1M-S2H
4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport
1TB Seagate Barracuda
Rosewill FBM-01 (Without power supply)

EVGA 500w

You'll need DDR4 memory and a new motherboard, use pcpartpicker.com for a wide list of compatibility hardware.

I thought they both supported DDR3?

What it uses is a very rare memory called DDR3-L which is low voltage and even so compatible motherboards for it are almost non existential.

Are the any other good processors around $100 that give off the same performance and are compatible?

For your current motherboard or are you willing to get a new one? even if second hand used.

Current motherboard, I just want to put a new CPU and GPU in and play.

You can't upgrade much further the best processor for the motherboard if I am not mistaken is the Athlon5370 which won't give you much of an upgrade feeling at all, I would advise saving some money and get a new motherboard, like the H110m and pair it with the Pentium G4560, you'll need new DDR4 RAM any ways... do think like this though, your upgrade path will be great if you go this way.

Would the Pentium G4500 work with the new motherboard, ram and graphics card? The G4560 isn't available on Amazon and I only buy from there.
