Minecraft shaders 45 FPS

Hi! I have a GTX 1070 and I just installed my first minecraft shader pack and I'm really liking it. I am also using optifine. I am averaging at about 45 fps however and I have seen someone with a 980 able to run it at 4k 60fps, and I'm only trying to go for 1080p! Any ways I can get those extra frames?

I hit 700 fps vanilla/modded with a 1050 ti...  Are shader packs super intensive?

try using Sildurs shaders mode. it also works with optifine looks about the same but has much better performance. I can run it with my 960 at 60fps . other then that you can try changing the java setting to allocate more ram. minecraftsix.com/sildurs-shaders-mod/

How do you allocate more RAM for it with the newest version?

change the JVM arguments in the advanced settings in the luancher

change the thing in the begining that says 1g to 4g and the thing at the end that says 128m to 256m .that should be enough ram

OK. well then try using the sildurs and see how the framerate is. it may be the mod instead of the client

it may be a problem with you computer. do you have any other mods installed?

i installed Kuda Shaders im getting around 85 fps

wow . I really don't whats the problem. you can try reinstalling MC but other then that i don't this there is  anything else i can do without seeing the pc. (Im also assuming your not have FPS problems in any Other games)

No I really dont have any problems with games like GTA 5 and AC 4 and even Battlefield 1

how are you getting the fps number (what server or a is  it a single player world)
