I have a i7 7700 ( non-k) and i order a gpu gtx1080ti 

But i have a 1080p monitor for now. 

Will it bottleneck my gpu ?

I will be buying next year a new monitor. 

Or should i hurry up in buying a new one ?

is your monitor 60hz or 144hz? on a 60hz this is just a waste. Get a better Monitor or a cheaper GPU.

Probably, but not enough to matter.

There should be some shiny new HDR monitors by next year (or in the next few months), so it's probably best to wait.

For now i am having a basic monitor 60hz

Look into a 1440p 144hz-120hz monitor. If not that then a 1080p 144hz-120hz monitor.

yea I would definitley recommend saveing up.The 1080 can game(arguably) AT 4K  So I would get at least a 1440p

The thing is that you would be wasting a LOT of money on being on a 1080p 60hz monitor as the card and processor cant reach their full potential, because they are made to run on higher resolutions, and it would be dumb buying that kind of hardware if you are just going to waste its potential

Why will it happen ?

You will not hit a "bottleneck" - you will max out every game at full 60fps, the maximum your monitor can display. It is just that you could have done that with a gpu 1/2 of what you paid. But if you get a better monitor in the near future everything is ok.
