I got a offer for an i7-950,DX58SO Mboard,2GB ram,amd r7 240(2GB),i ball power supply, 500gb SATA HDD, LG optical drive, cooller master elite310 case   

It's a second hand system and the guy is offering a prize of 53.38$ (he doesn't know anything abt PC  he got this one for some auction or something .....)    I checked the PC externally its good  I installed win7 (64bit)  works fine       Is it a best buy  should i buy it ?

He seems to have updated it to show R7 240.

 

Try using vulkan if you can, otherwise it's whatever runs better (this all varies depending on the game)

If it looks like the components are in good condition, can't go wrong with it. Though the PSU does seem sketch as balls.

I'd get that for some $54 dollars or equivalent. The CPU itself can be worth about that, then you get an OK case, a PSU that you shouldn't use, and a GPU that's no good for gaming but it does the job for watching videos. The HDD is also worth something. 2GB RAM is a bit low, try to get 2 more at least if you want to use the computer.
