Hi guys first time poster here, I've got a 980ti and I5 4690K with 8gb of ram. Do I need to upgrade my cpu? Cause I've been getting a lot of FPS drops in games

look on task manger and see if your CPU is maxing out

also what you running the i5 at and what games ?

Ghost recon wildlands is the game I'm having the problems in, okay I will check my task manager

no, you need 16GB of RAM for newer titles.

Also, overclock the CPU if you can, if you have good cooling.

Okay so I need to get another 8gb then for newer titles

...and a CPU cooler if you don't have one already so that you can crank your CPU to 4.2ghz+
