CPU over heats

I was playing games like I do everyday, I was hungry so I went to go eat. I shutdown my PC when I came back to play games I went into the BIOS to check my temp. It rose from 50 to 80 Celsius in 20 seconds. I logged on to my PC to check the load the load was below 5% and I opened hardware monitor and my temps peaked at 94c which is bad. Have any idea what happened while I was gone ??

To be seirous I have no idea what happened. Restart the PC and reseat the cooler. Maybe clear CMOS.

I tried clearing CMOS didn't work, by reseating do you mean reapplying my CPU cooler and re apply thermal paste ?

I had an RMA on it not to long ago, go look at my other post and give me your opinion on it. It's the same problem. But this time. Didn't turn on xmp it just happened .
