Hey,

Was just playing Witcher 3 for about 2 hours, when my drivers crashed & recovered. Has never happened before (literally just random one-time driver crash). Driver version is updated to the latest.
Light overclock with +100MHz core & +200MHz memory, and those are fully stable. I've tried +150MHz core + 650MHz memory on Firestrike loop for over 1 hour and stable, so my small OC isn't the problem.

Playing borderless 1920x1080. Moused over to my 2nd monitor to change YouTube video, and both screens went black --> Drivers crashed, but has recovered message. What could be the issue?

Main:  1650 v2   @ 4,6GHz   -   X79 Deluxe                -   GTX 1080 @ 2000MHz   -   24GB DDR3 @ 2400MHz / CL10

Side:   i7-4790K @ 4,5GHz   -   Maximus 7 Hero        -   GTX 1070 @ 2114MHz    -  16GB DDR3 @ 2666MHz / CL12

If it is one-time occurrence I wouldn't bother finding out the issue, those things happens from time to time. If it will happen again and often, then I would start to going back to stock clocks and see if it helped. Your OC may not be 100% stable after all. Or reinstall the drivers.

unstable overclock.

firestrike for a single hour is nothing to test stability.

to properly test stability, you need 48 hours of testing along with a variety of games to test diversity in code.

That's what I'm saying. I've finished the damn game twice with over 250 hours played, and never saw a driver crash, till now.

I used DDU and just installed fresh drivers, and lowered my "default" overclock to +95 MHz on core & +150MHz on memory. Let's see if another crash happens anytime soon... Thanks for your replies
