If people could recommend stuff to upgrade this (is that how this works you just "upgrade")

Are you sure that's not just the max speed you get from your ISP?

Does you mum know you're here?

thats all it said

Try plugging into your router with a cable, then run your test. Probably the only way you are going to get faster speed would be to pay for a faster internet plan.

were trying to figure out your base speed to see how fast your internet is since if a speed test on the cable gets the same as the one on wifi it means upgrading your wifi wouldnt help

@Alaradia so what do i need to do

You need to find out what tier of service your paying for. It should say on your Bill or something. Because you might be maxing out on what your paying for. Especially if your on DSL. Whos your internet provider?

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I dont even think Comcast Business Class moves that slow. Sounds like you have some issue. Maybe your modem is out of date, or you have a line/signal problem. You can try in a web browser going to 192.168.100.1, this should get you to the modems status page. Look at the tabs on the top. Locate and go to the one that says signal. The signal page should look something like this:

Your cable modem has to operate in a certain range. If its running close to out side of that rage or is indeed outside the range then you can have speed and connection issues. If its not an issue with your modem or you line then its an over capacity issue with your node. If that lather is the case then you have to wait for your cable company to upgrade the node.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
