Windows 10 Installation

foster016

I just setup put together a PC and now all I have to do is install an OS and I'm having issue.  I've purchased the Windows 10 home 64 bit OEM version but it's on a DVD and I do not have an optical drive.  Any tips or links you can provide me with?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 go to this page. download the tool and it should have an option to install windows 10 on another computer and then it should give the option to use a usb drive. from there you plug in a usb drive and continue with the setup. after everything is done you can go and plug the usb drive in the newly built computer and it should allow you to start the installation process as long as you have a ssd or hardrive plugged in to install the os on. if it doesn't work right away and says that there is no bootable drive attached go into the bios to set the boot proirity to the usb drive. also once you install windows on the ssd or harddrive you will want to change the boot priority to that otherwise it will keep on trying to boot from the usb and start the installation process of windows all over again.
