Do i need to get a new CPU?

I just bought a GTX 760 2gb, and one minuite it could be hitting 200fps, and then the next not even 80. Obviously this is playable, but i have no idea on how to check if it is bottlenecking, or whether the GPU is faulty.

You can use a program like Fraps to put a CPU/GPU usage overlay on your screen, it could help you to identify which component is bottlenecking.

Note: It depends on which programs/games you use whether you need a powerful CPU or GPU.

CS:GO likes a good processor, but I wouldn't upgrade the processor if the lowest you get is 80 fps.

h1z1? If that's the game you are talking about, then it's normal.

The game is a POS and an unoptimized mess, such behavior is what you can expect.

MSI Afterburner has some good features that lets you monitor usage of CPU and GPU and RAM etc. Good for checking bottlenecks

Good video about it ^

I've just risked it and hopped into a comp in csgo, and I'm getting 150 to 210 fps
