What is more worth it to get vx15 i7 version or alienware 13 i5 version?

I could be wrong but, mobile i7 are 4 cores and i5 are usually 2 cores with ht.Id go with i7

The alienware 13 i5 version is quad core aswell.

I say to everyone to avoid Alienware like the plague if you like price to performance. They're overpriced (and I don't like the aesthetics either) out the wazoo, even worse after being acquired by Dell in my opinion.

 

I think the bigger thing to look at is which graphics card each is running. That is what really determines how well the laptop will perform.

Which GPU and for what price? That is what determines the performance (and value) of the laptop.

 

The aesthetics and bulk are a personal thing, so I'll leave that decision to you. Just be aware that these gaming laptops are quite bulky.

I don't mind it being bulky usually thin laptop are noisy i think. ? It has 7th gen i7 quad core 16gb ram 256ssd 1050ti for $999 at amazon. Theres a space for hdd.
